I walked into that room not knowing what to expect - only knowing that my job was to share my story, announce the kick off of our fundraising efforts for people who wanted to get involved, and give out lots of hugs and gratitude for helping me celebrate our prototype grant!
But here's why this matters SO DEEPLY -For the past few months, EVERY SINGLE startup person I've talked to has "poo-poo-ed" my belief that Dream Money can be community funded. Instead they've encouraged me to spend my time pitching to investors vs connecting with the small business owners we're here to serve. But in the back of mind has been a STRONG, SOLID, UNWAVERING VOICE that has encouraged me to put our people first as our strategy for growing our company. What happened at Dream Bigger was NOT just our first few monetary investments in our vision. It was AFFIRMATION that THIS IS how we're going to grow - by connecting to the people who need this software and offering them an opportunity to get in at the ground floor! THANK YOU!!_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The second thing I want to share is...I woke up first thing yesterday realizing I'd made a big boo-boo! Whoops! When I was originally laying out our investment tiers, I realized that all the higher level tiers would come with everything from the lower level tiers, which means when we sell out all or our higher level tiers including our 111 lifetime licenses - instead of having an intimate tea party for 40 people, we would be hosting a tea party for almost 400 π³ That's A LOT of tea!! π So with that, I'm adjusting our tiers moving forward to keep things more manageable on my end and more intimate. BUT because you came to (or registered for) DREAM BIGGER, your tiers stay EXACTLY the same!
Moving forward, these tiers will no longer include access to "all of the above" and will instead be stand alone tiers.
Sooooo.... with that (this is IMPORTANT) -We're going to ask our Dream Bigger crew (that's you!) to make any desired campaign contributions by next Friday, November 29th so we can make these adjustments and start marketing them to the public.βοΈβοΈβοΈ Access our current tiers & pricing here!! βοΈβοΈβοΈ
